Karinna Moskalenko
Karinna Moskalenko is a Russian human rights lawyer and Director of the International Protection Center.
She has taken numerous cases to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, including many Chechen cases, and also defends high profile clients including Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Garry Kasparov.
Ms Moskalenko is also a Commissioner of the International Commission of Jurists and a member of the Experts Council of the Russian Federation's Ombudsman Office, the Moscow Helsinki Group, the Moscow City Bar Association and the Russian Lawyers' Committee in Defence of Human Rights.
Ms Moskalenko studied law at Leningrad State University and specialised in Human Rights at the University of Birmingham in the UK.
